"DIVERSITY: INDIGENOUS CULTURES OF THE AMERICAS"

January 6- February 6, 2015

Presented in conjunction with the City Hall Art committee, "Diversity, Indigenous Cultures of the Americas" will be on display in the Rotunda of Murfreesboro City Hall through Feb. 6th, 2015, with an Opening Reception, thursday, January 29th, from 4:00 - 6:00PM.

The exhibit contains art, artifacts and photography of three Middle Tennessee State University professors.  Collected over the course of field studies in Central and south America, Drs. Pace, Wyatt and Peres have assembled an exhibition of significant cultural insight into the native peoples of the Brazilian Rain forest, Mexico, Panama and beyond.

Works on display provide an excellent insight into the social, religious and everyday lives of a region of the world vastly different from our own.

The exhhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
